CT RECISTChest X-ray with automatic segmentation of the lung field and measurements required to calculate the cardiothoracic index. More details in Seghers TMI 2007.

Next to MRI, CT, PET/SPECT and US, multiple other imaging modalities exist as well. E.g., optical imaging (fluorescence and biolumuniscence) is frequently used to monitor biological processes in pre-clinical imaging. Another example include optical coherence tomography, mainly used to obtain high-resolution images of the eye. And also 2D imaging methods, such as traditional 2D X-ray imaging, are of course still abundant.
